Guided visit of U.S.' most
european city : Union Square, with its dozens of irresistible shops, the Financial
District, the city's business center and the famous Market Street, main street of the
city, the Civic Center, Alamo Square, the brand new St Mary Cathedral, Japan Town, the
Golden Gate Park, San Francisco's greatest park, and, of course, the Golden Gate Bridge,
one of the world's most beautiful bridges, a technical prowess, 67 meters above the sea.

Return from Sausalito to San

Crossing of the Golden Gate
Bridge and departure to the valleys of Napa et Sonoma.

at Zino's, in Sonoma.
Back to San Francisco by the
end of the afternoon.
Dinner in the mysterious
Chinatown, the greatest chinese city outside of Asia !

Jour 4 : SAN FRANCISCO / MONTEREY 180 km

The entire day is dedicated
to the discovery of the MONTEREY Peninsula.
17 Mile Drive Panoramic
road, winds along the rocks amidst the pines and cypresses, and offers breathtaking
sightseeings on the Pacific Ocean..
Lunch in the elegant seaside
resort of Carmel.
Visit of the small town of
MONTEREY, where american litteracy's connoisseurs will find the atmosphere of the Cannery
Row, which Steinbeck gave a powerful description.

Day 5 : MONTEREY / YOSEMITE 345 km

Departure to Yosemite
National Park, in the very heart of the Sierra Nevada, who will ravish nature's lovers.
This park expands over thousands of hectares of woods and breathtaking mountains; its
altitude varies form 600 to 3 960 m. This park is one of the american continent's fauna
and flora privileged zones, and the Yosemite Valley (in the heart of the Park) is one of
the best exemples of glacial valleys. El Capitan and Half Dome are fantastic monoliths,
with no peers in the world.

Visit of the park.

Day 6 : YOSEMITE / SAN FRANCISCO 463 km

Departure to Sacramento,
capital of California. Visit of this rich historical city (legendary terminus of the
famous" Pony Express" !).
Lunch. Arrival at San
Francisco in the afternoon.
Dinner with "live"
jazz atmosphere at Union Square. Accomodation.

Day 7 : SAN FRANCISCO / NAPA VALLEY / SAN FRANCISCO
American breakfast.
Professional visits in local
vineyards.
Epicure lunch at the
Sterling domain, wines included.
Tour of the estates aboard a
funicular !
Resumption of the
professional visits.
Return to San Francisco by
the end of the afternoon.

Day 8 : SAN FRANCISCO / NAPA VALLEY WINE TRAIN / SAN FRANCISCO
American breakfast
Return to Napa, and visit
aboard a somptuous Wine Train, with which you'll cross comfortably the vineyards' area.
Epicure lunch on board.
Stop in a domain and visit
of the site with tasting.
Return to San Francisco by
the end of the afternoon..
Dinner at the Japanese
restaurant Benihana, where chefs are also artists and prepare the meal before your eyes !

Day 9 : SAN FRANCISCO / ALCATRAZ ISLAND / SAN FRANCISCO
American breakfast.
Embarking aboard a ferry who
will lead you to the sadly renowned island of Alcatraz.
French comment in headphones
during the transfer.
Visit of the penitentiary
with your French-speaking guide. Return to Fisherman's Wharf, and lunch at the Alcatraz
Grill's.
Free afternoon for shopping,
or professional visits at the Napa valley.
Buffet dinner at the famous
Fairmont Hôtel, offering panoramic views over San Francisco.

Day 10 : SAN FRANCISCO
American breakfast .
Free day in the poets' city,
or resumption of the professional visits (guide and coach budget included)

Gala dinner aboard the
Hornblower, during a dance cruise in San Francisco bay.

Breakfast. Free time, then
transfer to à San Francisco Airport. Assistance at the airport, boarding. Arrival at
Paris on March 25th in the middle of the day.
